DESCRIPTION
Silsurf® A008 super wetter is a very low molecular weight ethoxylated polydimethylsiloxane. Silsurf A008 water-soluble silicone surfactant has excellent wetting, spreading and surface tension reducing capabilities.TYPICAL PROPERTIES

USES AND APPLICATION
Silsurf® A008 surfactant can be formulated where extreme wetting is required. At a use level or 0.1%, Silsurf A008 reduces the surface tension of water to below 22 mN/m. This product is an excellent wetting and surface tension reduction agent.
Silsurf A008 surfactant’s properties are useful in many water-based applications such as personal care products, textile treatment, inks & coatings, agricultural and any other areas where wetting and surface tension reduction are desired.
The extremely low surface tension of solutions containing Silsurf A008 surfactant causes additional benefits such as run-off of the solution leaving no residue and reducing drying cycles.
Another benefit of Silsurf A008 surfactant is increased penetration of the solution into fibers, orifices, or films. Materials dissolved into the solution also penetrate more deeply.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
When stored in the original, unopened containers between 10 and 400C, Siltech A008 has a shelf life of 36 months from date of manufacture.PACKAGING
